Basic Technical Training

Overview Of BTT

Basic Technical Training consists of three modules and an additional installation module, which can be taken after certification in the mechanical module. We are the first GWO training recognised institution in Tamilnadu. Additionally, we are India's top-ranked GWO training institute.

Training Methodology:

  • Classroom instruction: 30%
  • Practical demonstrations: 20%
  • Hands-on training exercises: 30%
  • Simulated technical scenarios: 20%
  • Assessments and evaluations: 10%

Duration:

  • Mechanical module: 2 days
  • Electrical module: 2 days
  • Hydraulics module: 1 day
  • Installation module (optional): 2 days

Certification:

  • GWO BTT certification is valid for 2 years
  • Refresher training is required every 2 years to maintain certification

Target Audience:

  • Wind industry personnel, including technicians, engineers, and support staff
  • Anyone working in the wind industry who requires basic technical training

Prerequisites:

  • GWO BST certification
  • A good understanding of English is recommended

Physical Requirements:

  • Participants must be physically fit and able to perform technical tasks
  • Medical clearance may be required

Equipment:

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Technical tools and equipment

This training is divided into five modules:

Module 1: Mechanical Module

Gearboxes Understanding gearbox components, lubrication, and maintenance
Bearings Understanding bearing types, lubrication, and replacement
Hydraulics Understanding hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting
Pneumatics Understanding pneumatic systems, components, and troubleshooting

Module 2: Electrical Module

Electrical circuits Understanding circuit diagrams, wiring, and troubleshooting
Motors Understanding motor types, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Generators Understanding generator types, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Control systems Understanding control system components, wiring, and troubleshooting

Module 3: Hydraulics Module

Hydraulic circuits Understanding circuit diagrams, components, and troubleshooting
Pumps Understanding pump types, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Motors Understanding motor types, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Valves Understanding valve types, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Module 4: Installation Module (Optional)

Tower assembly Understanding tower components, assembly, and safety procedures
Nacelle installation Understanding nacelle components, installation, and safety procedures
Rotor assembly Understanding rotor components, assembly, and safety procedures
